We also ran a couple of projects through SharePoint Services these showed very clearly that it does work I thought that this would then encourage others to use it, but you honestly would have thought that I was making improper suggestions, when you saw the response from most users. It did help a bit, but we still had people printing things off (when they even used it).

I subsequently started a trial with SharePoint Services which allowed us to put it key information such as policy documents, staff handbook, training material etc. The business had a specific document management software for QA, which was *supposed* to help reduce the amount of printing, but it actually increased instead. I tried to encourage a company to go paperless it was never going to happen for a number of reasons, but I was keen to reduce the amount of unnecessary printing going on.
